What is the warranty on our pieces?

We work with the best manufacturers to create responsibly sourced, handcrafted pieces made to last. We are confident in the quality of our products, which is why all our pieces include a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase at no additional cost. If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can purchase our Premium Warranty Extension to cover your jewelry for an additional 3 years (5 years total) under the same conditions as the original warranty.

Our warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects detected within the coverage period, offering repair or replacement of the affected piece as appropriate. However, it does not apply to intentional damage, irresponsible wear, accidents, misuse, abuse, scratches, allergic reactions, loss of center stones, loose, bent or broken prongs, rhodium or gold plating wear, normal wear and tear, gemstones discolored due to chemical reactions, or any circumstance not directly related to manufacturing defects.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:
- Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.
- Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require “building up” or restoration work as normal wear.
- Bent, caught or worn out prongs(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage. 


Important:
Items purchased through an external retailer (outside of Brownandblondejewelry.com) are not covered under our warranty; in such cases, you must contact the company from which the item was purchased. We also do not recommend having external jewelers work on our pieces, as any third-party intervention will void the warranty, including resizing or repairs.

Non-Refundable: Any purchase of a Premium Warranty Extension is non-refundable.

Cancellation:
Except where prohibited by law, Brown and Blonde reserves the right to terminate or cancel this warranty, in accordance with applicable law, in the event of fraud, misrepresentation, or failure on your part to comply with any of the applicable terms and conditions.

If your Brown and Blonde piece presents a covered defect, please send your order number and a photo of the jewelry to info@brownandblondejewelry.com and we will provide you with the next steps.

Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services for Engagement Rings

We recommend having your diamond ring cleaned and inspected once a year, or whenever it may have suffered any potential impact or damage. Regular inspections can help prevent the loss of a stone and extend the life of your jewelry.

This cleaning and inspection service is complimentary during the first year. The customer is responsible for both the shipping costs to our facilities and the return shipping to the indicated address.

During this process, repairs to your ring’s setting can also be carried out, which will be performed at an additional cost if applicable.
