THE FOUNDER

Brown and Blonde was founded by Irene, whose creative vision and deep respect for natural stones define every piece of the collection. With formal gemology training at the International Gemological Institute (IGI) one of the world’s most respected gemological institutes, Irene combines technical knowledge with an intuitive approach to design and stone selection.

From the first sketch to the final choice of gemstone, Irene remains closely involved in every step of the creative process. Each stone is selected individually for its beauty, balance, and character — embracing the natural variations that make every piece unique.

Her approach to jewelry is understated and intentional: pieces designed to be worn daily, to age beautifully, and to feel personal rather than ornamental.

Our gold pieces are crafted in solid gold (9kt, 14kt or 18kt) ensuring longevity and timeless wear. Gold plated and Silver pieces are made in high-quality sterling silver, designed to age beautifully over time.

Responsibility is woven into every step of our process. We produce in small quantities, avoid excess stock, and create many pieces made to order — allowing us to reduce waste and work with intention. By focusing on craftsmanship rather than mass production, we honor both the materials we use and the people who work with them.
